[REVIEW] Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish #Coral Craze

Kalian sehat, kan? Please dong jangan pada sakit ya.. Soalnya beberapa teman Lulu satu persatu tumbang karena cuaca yang tidak menentu ini.

Ngomongin yang cantik-cantik, Lulu jadi inget satu nail polish punya Lulu yang warnanya cantik banget (menurut Lulu). Manis seger-seger gimanaa gitu. Yaa, walaupun sekarang masih sering hujan, dan cuaca terkesan gloomy, tapi kita jangan ikut-ikutan gloomy dong yah. Caranya biar gak gloomy salah satunya pakai warna cerah di kuku-kuku kita :)*maaf kalau gak nyambung*
 
Yah, kalian pasti tahu kemana arah pembicaraan ini. Toh, judulnya sudah jelas sangat.

Yep,  ini adalah nail polish yang kece dari Maybelline. Nail polish ini satu family sama Color Show series. Makanya diberi label Color Show gede-gede di tutupnya.

Packaging

Nail polish atau kutek ini berbentuk silinder kecil bulat. Agak-agak demplon sih menurut Lulu. Tapi gak apa-apa, walaupun terlihat bantet dan demplon (apaan ini?!) justru terlihat lucu. Fisiknya yang membulat membuat tampilan luar kutek ini simpel, lucu, which I love so much.  

Formulasi Produk

Lulu sih ngerasa konsistensi dari kutek ini pas. Tidak begitu cair, tapi tidak begitu kental. Lalu ketika di oleskan ke kuku, kutek ini juga lumayan cepat mengeringnya. hanya dalam satu kali oles, warnanya sudah terlihat nyala. 

Kalau masalah ada apa saja ingredients di kutek ini, silahkan scroll ke atas foto sebelumnya. Lulu masih awam sama nama-nama disitu, dan gak tau harus tulis bagaimana.

Di foto ini, hanya memakai satu lapis kutek.

Biasanya, Lulu suka pakai dua lapis. Jadi, setelah lapisan pertama kering, di timpa lagi dengan kuteknya. Dengan begitu warna yang keluar jadi lebih vibrant dan penuh.
 

Penampakan bagian leher botol. Maklum ini beli sudah lumayan lama, kira-kira enam bulanan XD

 
 Kekurangan
Hanya ada satu kekurangan dari kutek ini, yaitu kurang tahan lama. Pemakaian dan glossy-nya hanya bertahan sekitar 3 hari. Setelah itu, mulai pecah-pecah di ujung kuku. Sebenarnya dengan harga yang murah, ini sudah sangat wajar. Solusinya biar warna kutek ini tetap bagus lebih dari tiga hari? Pakai top coat.

Kelebihan
Kutek ini sebenarnya sudah menjalankan tugasnya dengan cukup baik. Warna yang cantik, lucu, cepat kering, dan murah. 

 


Harga 
IDR 30.000an. Aduh maaf agak lupa, sudah lama belinya ^^v

Gimana? Tertarik untuk mencobanya juga? Masih banyak warna lain yang dijual, besok-besok, Lulu mau coba warna birunya ah... Hehehe

Tips: Ketika Wajah Berjerawat...

Halo semua! Daramang *sehat?

Kali ini Lulu mau ngebahas tentang perawatan kulit berjerawat nih. Awalnya gak pernah kepikiran di kepala Lulu untuk nulis beginian, soalnya kulit Lulu juga mood nya musiman, kadang bersih, kadang timbul komedo sampai ke kening, juga muncul satu jerawat besar sampai merah. Pokoknya malu lah kalau lagi jerawatan. Nah, kalau kulit Lulu lagi jerawatan bermasalah begitu, biasanya Lulu balik lagi buka-buka cabinet khusus skincare. Ada apa sajakah disitu?

[REVIEW] NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo

As promised, I will give you my review on NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo! Yeay!

I know it is kind of late, many people have tried this product, but I just purchased it few weeks ago.  (Yeah, poor me.)

Before we jump into the review, I want to tell you something. Actually I have many hesitations in buying matte lipstick. That’s because I had bad experience in using matte lipstick. My first matte lipstick was from Revlon Colorstay in shade Designer. The color itself is very good, it was orangey and it looked very fresh in my lips. But the after usage is … blrashhsd … it dried up my lips very very bad. I don’t know whether I had sensitive lips or what, i just don't know. But I don't like the after usegae effect. It made my lips chappy, dried my lips, and at the end of the story I chose not to use it again. Funny story tho, it was good to be applied on my cheek as a substitute for blush on (I am lazy af to buy blush on kkkk). Yeah, at least I didn’t throw my money to buy something I didn’t use later.

 

Okay, back to the story. So, I ended up bought NYX SMLC in Monte Carlo after I watched a swatches video in Youtube. After that, I waited for my package to arrive and voila… here is the baby~

Packaging

This lip cream comes in simple long tube with a doff handler.

 

Application is standard, as many other liquid lipstick.

What I like the most from this applicator is, little bit angled on one side. So it makes the application easier.

Comparison with my other favorite lipstick Maybelline Colorshow Pinkalicious. Look how red deep is Monte Carlo!

 

This SMLC texture is creamy, which is good ad it glides easily on my lips (as expected from the name Soft Matte Lip Cream).

This need to be highlighted, this lip cream is so pigmented. One swatch on your lips is enough. It really covers my dark-skinned lips beautifully. However, since my lips are quite dark, to achieve a real shade of Monte Carlo, I need to use two or three layers on my lips. And bam, after that I got that dark red of Monte Carlo ^^.

 

Unfortunately, there is only one minus from SMLC Monte Carlo. Even though this lip cream glides smoothly when application, not chalky and not sticky, this lip cream is quite hard to erase.  I found it hard to erase this lip cream after the usage. I tried to wipe it off with baby wipes and baby oil, but it just doesn’t come off. Even though most part of the lip cream are able to come off, but some are still stained my lips in the center. I don’t know whether to be thankful or to worry over this. Half of me said, “It is okay, that means this product have good pigmentation.” But my other half said the opposite, “OMG what am I going to do? Is it bad if I leave it like this to sleep?”

At the end I didn’t do anything with that. I woke up the day after and the stains are still on my lips.

Cleansing

Proses membersihkan wajah, apalagi setelah seharian pakai makeup dan terkena debu dijalanan itu sangat penting. Maka dari itu, kita harus pintar-pintar cari pembersih yang sesuai dengan karakter dan masalah di wajah kita. Pernah saya menggunakan pemberih wajah ber-scrub kasar ketika wajah saya sedang lumayan berjerawat, hasilnya gak banget deh, wajah saya tambah iritasi dan jerawatnya semakin merah. Belajar dari pengalaman, saya semakin berhati-hati memelih produk untuk membersihkan wajah.
